Subject: Interesting program on water issues on NPR's "Talk Of The Nation -
	Science Friday" today, Links, info, and a million dollar competition!

A good program discussing lots of water-related issues. There's info and an

A couple of other interesting links from the show:

Lester Brown was a guest and his new book "Plan B 3.0" is available on the
Earth Policy Institute at http://earthpolicy.org/ 
They also have complete datasets from the book available as Microsoft Excel
format files. This looks like a goldmine, if you're interested it
statistics, or incorporating the data into GIS databases or Google Earth
layers or simlar. Worth digging into!

Also, there's a Global Water Challenge Competition with $1 million (US)
available to finalists developing new solutions for water crises:
