I thought it was neat, myself.  Wally Minto was an incredible inventor,
everything he did was solar.  This particular little wheel was a gift to
the world.

It's just a closed cycle steam engine, and not particularly efficient,
but simplicity like this requires GENIUS.  Installed at the core of a
spherical house, it could be like living inside a skeleton clock, with
a walkway through the central hub.

OK, so that's not completely practical, but it'd be a wonderful
"sculpture" for the space.

Yeah, Bill's got a LOT of really neat stuff on his site.  I especially
like his hand-drawn holograms, but that'a getting off topic for this
particular list.

If I had *any* mechanical fabrication skills (beyond an ability to fold
cardboard, etc) I would make one for myself.  But, it's beyond my 
abilities.

Anyone want to whip up *2* of them?  One for themselves, and
one for me?  :-)
