"IT"is apparently a gyro-stabilized 1-wheel powered-scooter, according 
to an international patent application dated 2000dec14 by DEKA Products 
Limited Partnership in Manchester, New Hampshire on behalf of several

...although it is very impressive (if it works), the important thing
to me is that it is ONLY A scooter (or stabilized-skateboard) and that
althought they might sell many, absolutely no-body is likely to give-up
their car or pick-up or SUV or BikeE or Greenspeed for one of these...

...the still tantalizing mystery is where DEKA is on their StirlingEngine
portable power-plant project...

...if "IT" IS a scooter, then the "world-changing"predictions of Steve Jobs, 
John Doerr and other SillyconValley venturers don't make much sense...
