Well, here comes a weird question...

Is there any commercial interest for fly's eye domes, or small fly's eye
dome models?  I have met a guy with a vacuum forming shop...I showed him
a picture, and he wants one.  Of course, it's always nice if your hobby
pays for itself...and it's expensive to tool up for a one-off prototype.

He's thinking of one in his reception area, as a "display model" of what
his shop can do.

So, would anyone consider buying one?  And, what kind of size?  We'd be
designing *one,* based on the truncated icosahedron, so that one single
structural unit would be all that is necessary...maybe 18-20 feet in
diameter, probably 5/8 sphere?
